Don’t be one of those parents who choose a crib mattress without enough research. The mattress isn’t less important than the crib. Hopefully, this list of best crib mattresses will help you go in the right direction.
Do you understand what it means? It’s important to remember that your baby will spend a considerable amount of time in the crib. Infants sleep 16+ hours a day, which may seem hard to imagine when a crying baby wakes you at weird times.
The mattress must fit properly in the crib you’ve chosen without gaps that could cause harm to your baby. A firm mattress is also recommended. Soft mattresses like memory foam mattresses can cause suffocation or worse, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
There are two traditional types of mattresses: foam and coil. On the high-end, there are organic mattresses made from cotton. No matter what you choose, it must be the highest quality to provide support for your baby.
